My Portfolio!
I am a senior at Scripps College, majoring in Science Management with a focus in Environmental Science. I am from St. Paul, Minnesota and grew up going to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) for weekends in the summer. The BWCA is in northeastern Minnesota and is comprised of over 1,100 lakes and 1,090,000 acres. The area is popular for hiking, fishing, and canoeing. I wanted to focus my portfolio on the BWCA because it is close to my heart and conservation efforts have been going since the 1900s and need to be continued now more than ever. There are many proposals that would allow for mining in the BWCA, which would pollute the lakes and air. I used the skills that I learned in Art 141 to utilize photoshop for this portfolio.
